Shift TAB - Functions as the BACKSPACE key (ASCII 8) on the VT. CTRL Enter - Sends a Line Feed character to the host. CTRL @ - Sends a NUL character (ASCII 0) to the host. Alt = - Sends a DEL character (ASCII 127) to the host. This is also the code sent by the PC's BACKSPACE key. Num Lock - Places the KEYPAD in Numeric Mode (a local PC function). Scroll Lock - Functions as the NO SCROLL key on the VT100/102. Function Keys - F1 thru F4 function as the PF1 thru PF4 keys on the VT in numeric KEYPAD mode. Function Keys - F1 thru F10 function as the VT KEYPAD in application KEYPAD mode. Next pages of HELP describe this mapping. Cursor Keys - The cursor keys on the PC KEYPAD function as the VT102 cursor keys. Alt H - Displays this HELP information. Alt K - Starts up the Macro Key Definition procedure. Alt F1 thru Alt F10 - Transmits the selected Macro Key definition. I can't vouch for any compatible. PC-VT will not work on the AT with the Professional Graphics Display. If you use an external MODEM or a direct connect, PC-VT does not require that all 25 lines of the DB-25 connector on the COM port be connected. Actually, only pin 2 (transmit data), pin 3 (receive data), and pin 7 (signal ground) need be connected. PC-VT does not use Clear to Send (CTS), Data Set Ready (DSR) or any other Modem status line. Since some Modems require a basic handshake with the COM port, PC-VT sends Data Terminal Ready (DTR) and Ready to Send (RTS) out of the COM port. These 2 lines are not cleared when you terminate PC-VT. This permits the connection to be maintained while you go back to DOS. The communications buffer in PC-VT is 2048 bytes long. To prevent buffer overflow, the XON/XOFF support sends XOFF when 1536 characters are in the buffer (the 75% point of the buffer). Then, XON is sent when the buffer backlog is reduced to 204 characters (the 10% point of the buffer). If the host ignores the XOFF character transmitted, PC-VT will display a '#' character when the buffer overflows. All characters received while the buffer is in the overflow condition are discarded.$
